Instructions on SAF Alert for Friends

The two links below will give you information on signing up for either or both of the options to receive a call or text message when the status of the Kansas City Share-A-Fare program changes due to weather or other service delays.

The first link explains how this free service works and the second link clears up some common misunderstandings about this great service. I suggest you read the information from each of the two links before signing up.
The second link will have the information for both the phone call and the text message options.

Please feel free to share this information with others who ride with Share-A-Fare. You also might want to share this info with your place of business or Doctor’s office if either place has several employees or patients who ride Share-A-Fare. Those places would also benefit from these services.

There is no requirement that one is a participant of Share-A-Fare in order to use these free services.

This link provides background information about how all of this works. http://goo.gl/e6VdDJ

This page clears up some common misunderstandings about these two services and provides links to both the phone call and the text message options. http://goo.gl/r6V910

Please note that while the service to receive a notification is based on the @KcATAMetro account sending a tweet about Share-A-Fare, neither the KCATA or Share-A-Fare are affiliated with these services. This is something I created to help others. These services are free and I do not receive any form of compensation as a result of configuring or the use of these services.
